Position: Secondary School Mathematics Teacher (Part-Time)
Job Description
- Plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons aligned with Cambridge and Singapore curricula
- Assess student progress through quizzes, exams, and project-based work; provide timely feedback
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and encourage critical thinking
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate cross-disciplinary projects and share best practices
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and behavior in accordance with school policy
- Communicate proactively with students and parents to support academic growth and well-being
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
- Strong command of English, both spoken and written
- Familiarity with Cambridge and/or Singapore mathematics curricula is preferred
- Passionate about teaching, learning, and fostering a positive classroom climate
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to build rapport with students and colleagues
- Team-oriented mindset with flexibility to work collaboratively in a dynamic school setting
